Why watch The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time

Director Marianne Elliot manages to tell a very well woven story of intrigue and mystery, all in a span of two hours and thirty minutes. Luke Treadaway plays the enigmatic Christopher, a shy and reserved young boy who must venture out of his comfort zone and sort through scanty clues to solve this abhorring murder. A play that oozes perfection in direction, setting, and the crew, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is an excellent way to spend the evening

The Story

Christopher is a young boy who finds himself at the scene of the murder of Mrs. Shears’ dog, Wellington. The carcass lays rotting at midnight with a garden fork stuck to its side. Christopher, intent on proving his innocence, takes it upon himself to meticulously record all the facts and begins his pursuit to find the real killer. On this journey he must face all that he fears; after all, he hates social gatherings, loathes physical touch, and does not trust people. His articulate detective work, which is forbidden by his father, takes him on a dangerous journey that will uncover deep secrets and turn his world upside down.
With a stellar cast that refuses to hold back, this tale of mystery and intrigue will keep you glued to your seat till the very end.
